The DEYE BOS-A-PDU-2 is one of the central components of the Deye BOS-A modular energy storage system. As a Power Distribution Unit (PDU), it is responsible for the safe control, communication, and power distribution of high-voltage battery packs.
It is designed specifically for commercial and industrial energy storage systems (C&I ESS) where reliability, accurate battery supervision, and safety functions are critical.

The BOS-A-PDU-2 provides multiple communication and control ports for integrated operation with inverters, batteries, and communication modules:
- Isolating Switch: Manual switch to isolate the battery rack from external systems
- USB Port: For BMS firmware updates and data backup
- COMM1 / COMM2: Battery-to-inverter communication with power supply
- PCS COM: Communication with the inverter (PCS) for battery data transfer
- IN COM / OUT COM: Communication daisy-chain between multiple PDU units
- Bluetooth: Local data communication via mobile app (BMS monitoring)
- Ethernet (spare): Reserved for future network data communication
- Display Screen: Displays battery status (SOC, voltage, fault codes)
